Educator
Teaching has always been my greatest passion, and being able to bring my skills as a theatre artist to the classroom is a dream come true.
I received my Master of Arts in Teaching in 2023 after a year of working in 5-12th grade classrooms in Minnesota. I completed my program with a 4.0 gpa while still directing and teaching theatre on the side, sometimes working 14hr days to ensure my drama students were able to put up a wonderful play and my English students were well prepared for their speech competitions and AP exams.
I have been working as a theatre summer camp instructor for nine years, focusing on theatre basics for all ages. I work with ages 5-15 on acting, designing, puppeteering, and performance skills. I started as an intern while still in high school and am now one of the longest serving educators at the theatre.
Arts education is one of the most important things a child can have, and I pride myself in being able to give students a space to be creatively free as they learn what it means to be an artist.
